Well, it's May and as promised I am going to start majorly updating my blog. But get this, I'm sick AGAIN! I came down with a new cold on Wednesday. I'm almost over it. No more sore throat, it's just scratchy and a headache. But I'm telling you, I can't seem to catch a break.
Anyhow, I want to tell you about an awesome DVD I just saw. Anyone who is a fan of comics will love this. It's called Stan Lee Presents: Mosaic. It's a comic book type movie about a brand new hero called Maggie. It's one of two new movies that have been put out by Stan Lee's new production company, POW! Entertainment. It rocks!
Maggie is a teenager who is suddenly endowed with the abilities of a chamelon after being caught between an ancient artifact and lightning. And suddenly, she's thrust into a world where an ancient race is out to destroy all humans. Now, she must use her new abilities, under the reluctant guidance of her new mentor, Mosaic, to prevent disaster.
I loved it. Anna Pacquin, who played Rogue in the X-Men movies, provides the voice of Maggie. And Kirby Morrow provides the voice of Mosaic. Anyone who was a fan of the cartoon show X-Men Evolution will recognize Kirby as the voice of Cyclops in the show. Stan Lee himself introduces the movie before it begins and makes an animated cameo appearance in the film as the security guard Stanley. If you love comic books, or have enjoyed the cartoons or live action films of comic book characters, you will love Mosaic. It's a fantastic story, and is just the beginning of a whole new series of stories following the life of teen heroine, Maggie.

Thanks but I'm truly out of commission for awhile. I'm on one of those super antibiotics and am under lock and key for a month because it seems my immune system has shut down. It's a royal pain. But thanks for the sympathy.:-)
