Tapestry Tribute Part 4!

Welcome to the final installment of my tribute to the amazing Tapestry series by N.J. Walters. In the previous weeks I have posted blurbs of each book. Now, for my final tribute I am going to tell you all what I love about each of the 6 books.

Book 1: Christina's Tapestry. This story is the first one I read and its the first in the series. It not only introduced me to the world of Javara, it introduced me to the magic of N.J. Walters's written words. What I loved most about this book was Christina herself. She's not model thin. In fact by today's standards she's considered fat.

Yet when she is swept away to Javara, both Garen brothers love that she isn't a stick. They make her realize she's beautiful just as she is and I think that's a lesson all women could stand to learn. Christina is a "real" woman,  not some photoshopped ideal in the magazines.

Book 2: Bakra Bride. Oh man I love this book. We met the Bakra brothers back in Christina's book, but here they come into their own and I truly fell in love with them. Four strong, loving, and protective men with so much honor. Bakra Bride focuses on the 2 eldest, Zaren and Bador, and the woman brought by the tapestry to them, Jane Smith.

Jane Smith witnessed a murder and it ruined her life and nearly got her killed in the process. But, when the youngest brother Jarmon is mortally injured she fights to save him, to make him want to live. You can't help but love her.

Book 3: Woven Dreams. This is my absolute FAVORITE of the 6. It's about the two younger Bakra brothers, twins Jarmon and Garrik. Jarmon, who was seriously wounded and maimed in Jane's book despairs he and his brother will ever find a woman who will accept them both. But Genita Craddock, the abused younger sister of the brutal Craddock family is found on their land after she flees her own home.

From tales told by her cruel brothers, she's woven her own tapestry of dreams that includes the younger Bakra brothers. All three of them are scarred, wounded, and hurting. Watching them overcome their pasts is beautiful and a story I can not help but love.

Book 4: Threads of Destiny. This is the only book to break the rules. Marc Garen became second husband to Christina back in book one, but she was never able to truly accept him and his loneliness has become a stark open wound. More than anything, he longs to have a woman of his own that he doesn't have to share despite the laws of Javara. Then the tapestry arrives and brings Kathryn Piedmont into his world.

I like that this one broke the rules a bit and showed that the tapestry, because of its magical nature doesn't give a flying fig what the rules of Javara are. It decides who needs it most and sees to it that it comes to pass. I also liked that Marc was willing to give up his own world and return to hers. He's the only hero who now has an understanding of all that the women sacrifice when they choose to stay in Javara.

Book 5: Embroidered Fantasies. Only the youngest 2 brothers of the 6 Craddocks now remain. All the others have died due to their own brutality and treachery. Radnor and Sednar are different. They're good men who honor women even though people are still suspicious of them thanks to their older brothers's reputations. And when Roxanne, an abused woman arrives on their land, those whispers about them nearly cost them everything.

This book was awesome and it also slightly broke the rules. Roxanne's abusive ex was brought to Javara. But I really liked it because it meant justice got to be served on a cruel animal. And Sednar and Radnor won my heart. These are two men of honor with wounded souls and watching them blossom with Roxanne's love made me cry.

Book 6: Fabric Of Fate. We meet the Dannon brothers back in Marc and Kathryn's book. They are truly amazing men. But though they can provide well for a woman with food, they are not as rich as other keeps. Luxuries they can't provide so no woman is willing to marry them. Then the tapestry brings Audrey in the midst of a terrible storm to them.

I fell in love with Abrah and Heroc. These two men are wonderful and I couldn't help but wish I were Audrey. Their love and protection was absolute. And they truly cherish her. I'd have snapped both men up in a heartbeat.

And that is my tribute to one of THE best series I have ever read in my life. N.J. Walters is a sensational author, but she is also a dear friend that I am blessed to have in my life. This woman has done so many things to make me smile when I've been down or injured. Truly she is an angel on earth and I strongly urge everyone to read her books. They are so good you won't be sorry.

You can get her Tapestry Series here. But you can also find some of her works here at Samhain. And thank you all for joining me in honoring a truly great series and a truly great author.

Tapestry Tribute Part 3!

Hello and welcome to part three of my tribute to N.J. Walters's Tapestry Series. This week is dedicated to books 5 and 6 in the series.

Book 5 is called Embroidered Fantasies. Only 2 brothers remain of the 6 brutal and abusive Craddock brothers. But, Radnor and Sednar are different than their elder brothers in spite of what people think and whisper in fear.

Roxanne Sykes is a divorced waitress, trying to carve a life for herself after escaping an abusive marriage. Her quiet life is shattered when her ex-husband finds her. Before he can harm her, a magical tapestry whisks her away. She finds herself in a strange land, in the presence of a man straight from her erotic dream.

Radnor Craddock’s life has been one of violence and brutality. He never expected the tapestry of Javara lore would bring a woman to him and his brother, Sednar. They only have three days to try to convince Roxanne to stay and both use their considerable seductive skills to do so.

The erotic encounters are like nothing Roxanne has ever experienced. Yet, she cannot trust her judgment. After all, she married a man who abused her. Then there are the dark hints and innuendoes of the Craddock’s violent past. But when her ex-husband threatens her, Radnor and Sednar risk their lives to save her. Will she leave or stay and claim these wounded warriors as her own?

The last book in the series is Fabric Of Fate and follows the course of the Dannon brothers, two men of honor who despair of ever having a woman of their own since they do not possess the same wealth as the other keeps.

Audrey Brennan is married to her job as an ad executive. Her work environment is fast-paced, competitive and cutthroat. When a panic attack brought on by stress and overwork lands her in hospital, she is forced to examine her life’s choices. Before she can make any decisions, a beautiful tapestry filled with magic whisks her away to a strange world where men compete sexually to win a woman.

In Javara women are in short supply and brothers must share. Abrah Dannon has given up hope that either he or his brother Heroc will even have a wife. But a wild storm brings an unexpected gift to his doorstep—a woman.

For the next three days, both brothers will use all the sensual skill at their disposal to seduce and pleasure Audrey so she will want to stay in Javara with them. But there is more at stake than simply hot sex. Their hearts are hers for the taking if she is willing to risk the chance.

All six books in this series are amazing and worth reading. You can get your own copy of each book here. And stay tuned for next week's installment of my tribute. It will be a special installment dedicated to what I love about each book. See you next week.

Tapestry Tribute Part 2!

Time for the second part of my tribute to my favorite series, the Tapestry series by N.J. Walters. Part two is dedicated to books three and four in the series.

Book three is my all time favorite. They are all excellent but I so fell in love with Jarmon and Garrick. Two wonderful men. And the heroine, Genny, is a sweet and amazing woman giving all that she has endured.

Book Three is Woven Dreams:

In Javara, women are scarce and brothers must share a woman, although only one can claim her as a wife.

Scarred and maimed from a battle fought almost a year ago, Jarmon Bakra is afraid chances are slim that he and his twin brother, Garrik, will find a bride.

While on a hunting trip, the brothers stumble upon a woman in the forest claiming to be a tapestry bride. Now that fate has dropped a beautiful, courageous woman in their path, they will both use all their sexual skills separately and together to convince her to stay.

But Genny has secrets of her own and they have only three days to uncover the truth.

And may I say the cover for Woven Dreams is sexy uber hot. Book four, Threads Of Destiny was the most asked for ever since the first book. It's Marc Garen's story and is the only one to break the rules a bit.

Marc Garen knows and understands the laws of his world. On Javara, women are scarce and brothers must share, although only one can be her husband. But he is lonely to the depths of his soul and longs for a woman of his own. A woman who has haunted his dreams.

Kathryn is a scientist, fighting to save two genetically enhanced super soldiers from termination when a magical tapestry transports them all to Javara. Now three men share Kathryn’s bed, all bent on satisfying her every desire. But Marc is resolved to make her his alone. He has three days to convince her…before the tapestry returns.

All these books are fantastic. Click here to get your own copies and join me next week for books five and six.

Tapestry Tribute Part 1

As most of you know I am a HUGE N.J. Walters fan. It's because of her encouragement that I subbed my first book and I totally credit her and her support for getting published. The woman is amazing and her books are all wonderful reads.

The first of her books I ever read was book one in her Tapestry series. So, I have decided to dedicate March to that wonderful series. Each week will focus on two of the six books in the series. And to start off we'll begin with books one and two.

First up: Christina's Tapestry. This is the book that started it all.

Christina Beaumont impulsively buys an expensive tapestry that she sees in a shop window on her way home from work, having no idea how that one action will change her life. The magical tapestry transports her to Javara, a world that resembles medieval earth, and into the arms of two massive warriors who both want to claim her.

Brothers of the House of Garen, Jarek and Marc are elated to discover the tapestry has delivered Christina to them. Women are scarce in their world, so the men of a family must compete for the right to be her husband. But before she can choose, she first has to experience the lovemaking of both brothers, separately and together. Jarek and Marc, hoping to influence her decision, both use all their considerable sexual skills to pleasure her in ways she’s never imagined.

But the tapestry also offers another choice. Christina can choose to return to her own world. Jarek and Marc join forces to convince Christina to stay with them even as they fight a rival family for the right to keep her as their very own.

This was the very first book of N.J.'s I ever read and have been hooked ever since. Up next is book two, The Bakra Bride.

Jane Smith has the perfect corporate job, a beautiful apartment and an understanding boyfriend. She works long hours, but enjoys her life. It all begins to unravel the moment she witnesses a murder. Now, her former life has vanished and she is left to rebuild.

Just when things seem to be taking a turn for the better, the thrift store tapestry that she’d impulsively purchased magically transports her to Javara, a world that resembles medieval earth, and into the arms of the Bakra brothers.

Zaren Bakra is shocked to discover that the tapestry has delivered Jane to Bakra land as the tapestry prophecy has already been fulfilled for this generation. Their world is strange to Jane, and her very presence ignites violence and death.

Now the two eldest brothers will use all their sexual skills, separately and together, to convince Jane to stay in Javara and choose one of them for her husband. But the tapestry will reappear in just three days. Will Jane return to her own time and all that is familiar or will she become the Bakra bride?

These two stories were also released together in print form. the title of the print release is Tapestry Dreams.

These first two stories introduced us to the world of Javara. It's a world I continue to enjoy visiting. This entire series is fantastic. Join me next week as I pay tribute to books 3 and 4. And click this link to get your own copies of N.J. Walters's books.
