It was a beautiful wedding. Prince William looked quite dashing in his uniform and of course Kate Middleton was positively stunning in her wedding dress. I was 5 years old when Charles married Diana and I remember how magical that day was. Of course, no one knew just how tragically that fairytale would end.William and Kate's wedding was just as full of magic and romance as his parents wedding so long ago. But, I hope and pray that their marriage has a far happier ending. They do have a few things going for them that his parents didn't. He and Kate have been together as a couple for 9 years and have lived together for several of those years so they already know many of their bad habits and yet are still together.
Also, Kate is ten years older than Diana was when she married Charles. Kate has a university background and more experience with life. She's not as young and innocent as Diana. I think this will work in William and Kate's favor. Also, having seen what happened to his mother first hand, William will be less likely to make the same mistakes his father made.
I have high hopes for both of them. And I wish them nothing but years of happiness together.

I have high hopes for them also. I thought her dress was lovely. And I might make my hero in a SFR look like prince Harry--he seems rugged and adventurous!
Yeah me too. Plus he also seems really down to earth. A definite credit to his mother I believe.
He seems to have his mother's capability for relating to all people.
I do not profess to understand the relevance of the aristocracy, but like the rest of the world I was enchanted by Diana.
May her son and his bride have found the unequaled love Diana in her naivite thought she'd found in Charles.
